Once I was at the beach and I was sand dune surfing (for those who don't know what this is its big sand hills at the beach and you slide down them on a board) and I was having heaps of fun. But then I saw this super steep slope and I instantly was intrigued to surf it. So without even checking if it was safe I dropped in, it was almost a 90 degree angle and the worst part was that there was a wooden pole sticking out of the sand at the bottom. I fell down the slope and my knee landed on the pole and it sliced it. I needed stitches.
So the moral of my story is if your sand dune surfing check the slope before dropping into it
